On February 26, 2021, the kick-off meeting of the Research Group on the Emergence of Collective Actor Quality [RUECA] took place. RUECA brings together 6 DFG-funded individual projects that address the emergence of collective agency from different perspectives. A special focus lies on the emergence of collective agency in non-hierarchically organized groups. The kickoff meeting showed the broad range of empirically oriented projects that investigate the emergence of collective actor quality in cases such as parliaments, international organizations, and policy coordination bodies.
